Obama Dividend,Housing 2 for 1 Splits

It is NOT News to declare the jobless recovery a Failure, but in my daily efforts to earn my living some observations give me pause. Watching the Real Estate markets from a 1-4 Family Property Management perspective is providing evidence that Serious Damage to the American Dream has been inflicted by Politician and Social Engineer wonks. I wish for it to be other than Fatal, but I won't make that call here and stick with Serious. I have not performed the research to provide supporting numbers of affected households, this is a bad feeling in my stomach based on recent market observations and client encounters. The 2 for 1 Splits in Family Units ARE absorbing Real Estate inventory-albeit at enormous costs, emotional and financial.

Economic Marital Strife

The root of all human (relationship) pain is "unrealistic expectations", but that is a writing for another audience. The number one cause of troubled marriages today may be the ability to cope with Financial Stress. The fears of insecurity from job loss and underemployment being compounded by a Loss of Value of the single biggest purchase -owner occupied housing- are a recipe for Irreconcilable Differences in too many families I encounter today.

Can't Afford the 1, Lets Have 2...

So we have a Family Unit, that feels it can not afford the lifestyle (and Pressures) of remaining a SINGLE family unit becoming broken in TWO.

Whether Mom stays, and Dad goes to Rent -or- House is vacated and Mom and Dad go to Rent, You have to be emotionally immersed to deny obvious logic failure in this prescription. The air May Feel different at first, but it will be a very rare case when ANYONE'S Lifestyle is improved by this maneuver. [Disclaimer: I do not condone Marriage as excuse for Abusive relationships, and such are not to be tolerated, on pain of ultimate Marital Exit Clause.]

Renters Tax...

We have Bankruptcy and Under-Employed folks that can not Qualify [with a reasonably steady Job] for a Loan Modification [Rates Only even] that are Splitting households in two PLUS Paying the Renters Tax.

Using local market numbers, I estimate that Renters Tax for a medium sized home to be on the order of 1/3 (33%) more expensive than owning the home. Even if both downsize, with Mom or Dad taking unequal size demotion, the Housing Costs can easily increase 2x for the two home family. Factoring in Utilities increases I calculate housing component can then represent 205% of the NEW household Budget.

Hitting Total...
On this "2 for 1 SPLIT" decision, the Winners are clearly the Investment Property Owners, which are creating Wealth for their family. Note to Suzie spreading the lie on CNBC and hat-tip Robert Kiyosaki, Owner Occupied Real Property is an Expense, NOT an investment!

This investor wealth may help save or create Handy-Man jobs, but does not produce meaningful product with the Depreciating Assets (Rental Housing), and hence yields a Net-Negative Economic Impact.

Unable to Print Dollars like the Federal Reserve does for the U.S. Treasury, the newly minted two-house Family must re-prioritize expenditures of their available Income, adjusting for the increased Housing Burden component. This is no doubt Job Killing, as discretionary spending is reduced by 25% as percentage of the Original Family Unit income. Look at the Types of Business failures in your neighborhood.

My Sincere Condolences

To all of the Family's affected by this Economy that is -I argue- the result of 100yrs of Sociopolitical Engineering and Government Iniquity, including Sanctioned Ponzi's; Debilitating Regulatory regimes; Fiscal Resource Confiscation; Markets Denial of access to Public Resources, i offer my sincerest condolences.

ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others
simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff.

The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl.

And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the 'the Chosen One'- The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!"

But our foreign trading partners said unto Him. "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..."

And "The One" said, "Wait a minute. That is not fair!"

And the New World Order said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power."

Trump is Not Perot Again?

A pair of items today caused a moment of reflection as WE approach the 2012 election cycle. First was the Today Show Interview of Donald Trump by Meredith Viera [Must See TV] and the second was the thoughtful Comment to a Forbes Blog Article on Trump's Left-Leaning Donations, apparently aimed at preemptively striking conservative support for a Trump Presidential bid.

I am delighted by the former, as The Donald is able to break through the Left Wing Media Apparatus to call things out and can help focus the debate where WE need it.

I am concerned by the Latter, as so FEW facts are employed to create a deceptive (IMHO) picture of Donald Trump's activities when he was clearly focused on Real Estate Development. [I challenge you to be successful with Real Estate Development in New York & Chicago with only GOP donations] I don't know if Brendan Coffey is Left-Wing or Right-Wing leaning his-self, but the tactic is as employed by radical organizers and counter productive to U.S.

Shutting down a Trump bid at this stage helps only Incumbents at all levels, and I plan to encourage open debate about the Real State of The Union, in lieu of allowing the Progressive Propaganda Outlets to run unabated. The Just-like-Perot discount tactic will be employed should Donald Trump or any other Non-Establishment Candidate enter the ring, and WE need to be prepared to support the most principled and fiscally responsible officeholders that we can elect. In the interim lets encourage truthful analysis to permeate the Media outlets.

In this just completed decade, we have watched the selection process for President deteriorate to the point where it is almost identical to the one we use to select “The American Idol” or the winner of “Dancing with the Stars”. When a person like Sarah Palin shows up at the top of a poll showing Republican’s preferences for presidential candidates, it raises fundamental questions as to the viability of our entire political process. For even more devastating evidence, look no further than the current disaster-in-progress which is the Obama administration.

When I heard that Donald Trump was seriously considering running, I was skeptical, and I still am. I know whereof I speak: in 1992, I and a group of other civic-minded folks in my home state of Oregon organized the Perot ballot initiative which put Ross Perot on the ballot in Oregon as a presidential candidate. As chairperson of that group, I had occasion to meet Perot and participate in a meeting he held in Dallas of all the state campaign chairpersons. What I discovered was a man [Ross Perot] singularly un-suited to participating in the political process, and by temperament, one who’s totalitarian instincts might have created serious problems for this nation had he been elected.

At the time, those of us who got behind Perot (in February of 1992) were motivated by his apparent commitment to forcing government to live within it’s means, and a hypothetical belief that his success in business would translate into success as President, particularly given the issue that mattered most to us, ie: elimination of deficit spending by the federal government. To say that we guessed wrong is an understatement, given the actual outcome of our initiative. But even with the benefit of that negative first-hand experience betting on success in business as a predictor of success as a political leader, I’m not prepared to write-off Donald Trump’s potential to provide the leadership this country desperately needs here and now.

In terms of “apparent temperament” and political skill, Barrack Obama is an obvious prodigy. However, in substance, based on the empirical evidence of his conduct once elected, I would classify his election as the most egregious mistake ever made by the American electorate (and BTW, I voted for him), and a man who’s radical political ideology and extreme narcissism, pose a clear and present danger to the immediate future of this country. The damage Obama has done in just two years to this country is hard to comprehend. We may need someone as decisive, and with a deep intuitive understanding of the necessity to restore our free-market economy, that Mr. Trump might well be uniquely qualified to deliver. Therefore I plan to wait and see if he can navigate the gauntlet of our dysfunctional and profoundly corrupt political process, and make the case that he might be our best hope of fixing it.

Whether by Miscommunication or Intentional Non-Consensual Regulation, what began as a sales pitch to make Health Care more available and affordable for the American people, emerged as a healthcare industry hijacking by bureaucrats which have far reaching impacts on Economy and Liberty of the average American.

WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America made clear, through Peaceful Assembly and Speech, OUR understanding that President Obama's Government Takeover of the Healthcare System was not Constitutionally allowed. The U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate proceeded with a Bill that in no way matched the Advertising for it, even attempting to cast the SPENDING AUTHORIZATIONS in LAW.

Misappropriation & Fraud or Grand Theft & Larceny? - I's A Toss-Up for me, follow the money. Since the Obamacare passage, in the dark of night and arguably against the Rule of LAW requiring that appropriations Bills Originate in the U.S. House of Representatives, a growing number of State Governments are paying Legal Appeals and Waivers diverting needed capital resources to fighting this unlawful Act.

The law, according to Vinson, was "outside Congress' Commerce Clause power and it cannot be otherwise authorized by an assertion of power under the Necessary and Proper Clause," the Wall Street Journal reported.

While it's a small - and perhaps one of the most controversial parts of the legislation -the clause makes the entire law void, according to Vinson. -from USNEWS

Since the first official ruling, acknowledging that WE THE PEOPLE were correct in our assessment of this far reaching legislation the misappropriations continue, quietly in contempt of the court ruling the Dept. of Justice is now aiding and abetting the Felonious Act by postponing the inevitable outcome.

The 1000+ waivers "GRANTED" by the supreme Federal Bureaucrats, at Dept Health & Human Services and February shift in policy direction towards the States directing Obamacare were proof that the Administration recognizes the LAW is not going to pass Constitutional Muster.

There is little doubt NOW, that Obamacare will be declared Void. (Hat Tip to Debbie at Eastern Orlando TeaParty) The precedent is deep enough, most recent support being a ruling that was suppressed by the Liberal Media in 1997. The State of Montana shut down the Federal desire to enforce the Clinton Era "Brady Bill" using Chief Law Enforcement Officers of the individual States.

WE all know the Bill is illegal, and has been declared VOID by the first Judge to hear the case, yet the Executive & Legislative Branches of Government continue to misappropriate funds to develop 150+ new wasteful departments.

The second question is Whom should be impeached for this travesty of Justice? Is it enough to include the original perpetrators: President Obama, Senator Reid, Representative Pelosi, that implemented the permanent misappropriations?

SHOULD WE include Speaker Boehner for Continuing the Misappropriations by his fidelity to Rules the perps would not abide through Continuing Resolutions began by the Three Little Perps?

Having recognized his complicity, and atoned by cessation through the 2012 Budget Process, I would reward Speaker Boehner for his fidelity to Law.

Tsunami: Learning the RIGHT Lessons

May God with all his Might and Grace, comfort those that have suffered the Loss of Loved ones, and strengthen the survivors rebuilding after the recent tsunami in Japan. Through natural disaster Humans re-learn to become enthusiastic about life, and often rebalance the stuff:relationships scales in the recovery period.

The Left Oriented Media, literally & emotionally thousands of miles away, is quick to help us identify the Lessons that support the ideology and Worldview they deem correct, while completely ignoring Lessons that challenge other positions. While focused on Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubts about the safety of Nuclear Power in the excitement of a non-standard F&D plant shut down, the media completely ignore the longer term impacts of flooding the plant with seawater destroying all future generating capacity for the plant.

Some of these impacts are local to Japan, as excerpted from a Bloomberg article on Sony shuts more plants from supply chain interruptions.

Some impacts will be Global. The Nuclear Reactor is for practical purposes the harnessing of the Sun, right here on earth. An obvious question following dramatic withdrawal of significant Electrical Generation in Japan is if the chicken little's win their way...What Will Replace this source? New Gas Turbine or Coal Fired plants?

In the Western United States we have seen a fraction of this type of impact in the California boom years. Rather than build Nuclear Generation capability, the "Environmentally Conscious" experts began building Natural Gas Turbine Generation. This of course has driven up the cost of home heating for those in fly-over country that prefer not to e waste Electricity trying to accomplish a task in which GAS is much more efficient. Of course they won't think of converting an internal combustion engine to natural gas capable, eliminating the wasteful transmission and recharging penalties.

In typical Government Efficiency, the idea that WE urgently need an ALL-Of-The-Above energy policy is now FOUR YEARS in discussion and no closer to reality. Adding insult to injury, we have the Depts like EPA and Interior (and others) working to starve the private sector of the Energy to recover, while spending records amounts digging us deeper into debt.

To make a long story short, the most important lesson for our officeholders in Washington may be that the need for Energy Independence is second only to Human Enthusiasm, IF a vibrant economy is the mission objective. Currently thanks largely to Career Politicians arrogance and greed, the United States of America is running low on both of these critical elements.

My message to the peoples house is as follows. Life is short, and you don't know when it will end. Real or as affected by Gov't, The Energy shortage will continue to hamper economic activity and until you get bureaucratic boots off our necks there is no recovery, only risk of deeper recession.

I can't find ANYTHING on the Denver Web Site to substantiate the Greener Denver “accomplishments”, and the leader just vacated office for a position at Climate Prosperity Inc. The only thing I can see that is Sustainable about this scheme is Higher Education Grants and Consulting Fees for the looters creating eyewash entrancing our intellectually superior bureaucrats. Supreme Contradiction - Decisive Action is Needed

This Letter is written to my representatives from Colorado, but is I believe relevant for ALL members of the United States Senate. I hope you will be able to reflect on the importance of a grounded Supreme Court in maintaing necessary Checks & Balances in the Tri-Branch Miracle that we have inherited for our self Governance.

Gentlemen,

The decision to approve a nominee for service on the Supreme Court of the United States may very well be the most important vote you will cast while representing Colorado in the United States Senate. Ideally, given the lifetime term of an appointee, the Justice will preserve and protect the U.S. Constitution for the remainder of their working life, offering stability as many popular congressional classes pass. This structure does however create the possibility to create the risk of a forty-year mistake.

The present nominee, Ms. Elena Kagan, in testimony has given me pause on several occasions during the confirmation hearings, such as Congressional Oversight of Citizen Mandated Diets however; the most troubling to date (and perhaps a cause of Ms. Kagans indecisive/evasive demeanor) was the dialog with Sen. Coburn when she refused to acknowledge, as valid or relevant, the idea that human beings possess certain inalienable rights preexisting the U.S. Constitution (specifically the Declaration of Independence) and not subject to the whim of the Executive and Legislative Branches.

The Declaration of Independence and other American History seems to have been marginalized in Ms. Kagans vast education, indeed in the Law School where she made policy Ms. Kagan institutionalized a preference for International Law Precedent over Constitutional Law.

The Declaration of Independence is THE ORIGINAL PRECEDENT for the U.S. CONSTITUTION, with which the capable, impartial, Justice must weigh each case considered against when forming their decision. I submit to you esteemed members of the United States Senate that seating a Justice with a total disregard (vis-a-vis relevance) of the Declaration of Independence is a supreme contradiction and puts us at high risk of a long term mistake.

The success of our Country since its inception can be directly attributed to the stability provided by adherence of the Supreme Court, and subsidiary courts, to the original precedent. While created by and for persons of faith, the Declaration of Independence transcends Race and Creed, creating an environment optimized for HUMAN NATURE.

The social and business climate created by a grounded set of Rules (Law) that can be counted on for Long Term stability is essential for the continued success of our Republic. A Justice that does not posess an understanding of the original precedent, and its essential function, will subject to pressures of the current economic, social, political environment (witness Bank Bailouts) veer off course as Human Nature recreates precedent.

In Colorado, we are during this election cycle addressing Judicial Activism which is the result of decisions made without regard for original precedent to the detriment of Colorado in many ways. Beyond the scope here, but research is available for your consideration at ClearTheBenchColorado.

The chief Justice has signaled her intent to resign in advance of a Retention Defeat and we look forward to a Colorado Supreme court that returns to the successful course shown by our founding documents.

We would prefer to keep the U.S. Supreme Court on track, as any mistake is necessarily more difficult to correct. A climate of uncertainty and competition between Judicial-Legislative-Executive branches is a detriment to the Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness of every citizen. It is for this reason that I implore you to withdraw your support for the confirmation of Ms. Kagan and request an alternative nominee from the President as soon as possible for the benefit of all our United States.

I am going to give the notion the benefit of acquiescence for this thought exercise and would ask you to a)Do the Same long enough to consider this proposed Legislation and b)Help with an experiment to make advantage of the current position of "Overton Window" on this notion by making this post VIRAL.

Where As the Billions invested by Union Organizations on Electioneering has been acknowledged as Money Flushed Down the Toilet by the Obama White House

and Where As Union Pension Systems are heading towards insolvency like a Tsunami due to unfunded liability and swelling overheads and electioneering expense

and Where As the Pension Safety Net (Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation -sort of like Fannie Mae for Pension Ponzi?) is unravelling as fast as the Union programs as U.S. Treasury Debt exceeds GDP AND May NOT be available

and Where As the Union Membership should enjoy the Economic Freedom and 1st Amendment voice to participate in the Democratic Decision making regarding the Expenditure of their contributions

and Where As It is recognized that the avoidance of Pensions Defaults will NOT occur if left alone and that BOLD action is required.

Be it Resolved that Bold Action be taken immediately to codify and regulate Organized Unions for a Responsible Future, through this Legislation.

The Union Electioneering By Choice Act hereby gives each member the RIGHT to CHOOSE to Contribute to Lobbyists, Politicians, and the requisite Union Overheads, through a Membership Electioneering Contribution Card (MECC).

Failure to provide a Membership Electioneering Contribution Card will by DEFAULT retain MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS in the PENSION ASSETS FUND, where they are needed and will serve the MEMBERSHIP the MOST.

Organizational Overheads shall be slashed with current staff returning to the Bench for work. District Level Negotiating Teams shall be created through Self-Governance by District Membership, and not supported by General Overhead Burden.

To the extent that is financially supported by MECC electors, the Union Organizational Overhead for Lobbying may be retained, however; all Union Organization Staff Overhead shall be dedicated to Financial Services or JOB Specific Training Programs that directly Benefit the MEMBERSHIP.

It is an illegal act, punishable by a life sentence in a Sheriff JOE labor correctional facility, to discriminate against, or CAUSE HARM TO members exercising their DEMOCRATIC RIGHT to contribute to the PENSION SYSTEM instead of making a CHOICE for ELECTIONEERING.

Further, physical harm to any MEMBER that by CHOICE supports PENSION contribution will be DEEMED a HATE CRIME with appropriate adjustments to Correctional Sentence.

As Good As It Gets...until January in NI?

The past week some important news was lost in the Pay-2-Play (just politics as usual, nothing really) news vortex. One item is a long overdue media breakthrough, the other of an Historic important trend that is being completely ignored during the European financial circus. The best news of the week, also under reported is that G20 decided against continuing Bailout nation policy in deference to addressing deficit spending. -Even Helicopter-Ben Bernanke now thinks it's OK to address the Deficit spending trends.- This is a policy I can believe in, if it were only possible for the Corrupt-o-crats to implement we would be set on the right path.

Media Breakthrough

In an interview with CNBC, Steve Wynn says what the Tea Party Patriots have been feeling since the first event. “No one has any idea what’s next…the uncertainty of the business climate in America is frightening, frightening to everybody, and it’s delaying the recovery.” To have a captain of industry finally point the finger at our miscreants in Washington that garners any attention is indeed a breakthrough. Unfortunately I am not confident that any incumbents will get the message and so I believe it is up to WE THE PEOPLE to become the People of "the Land of NI" (No Incumbents, not a Monty Python reference) If they are IN, they ARE the problem, which brings us to THE driving issue for the November Elections Cycle in 2010 - THE ECONOMY.

Historic Economic Event

A little reported BusinessWeek trend from the Commodities Markets (The Journal of Commerce Industrial Price Commodity Smoothed Price Index) that tracks the growth rate of steel, cattle hides, tallow and burlap plunged 57 percent in May, two years after a decline that foreshadowed the worst recession in half a century. In October 2008, the index fell at a 56 percent annual rate, which was then the lowest level since 1949. Now, “the collapse in the commodity index is telling us that the peak in global industrial growth is imminent, it’s here right now,” Achuthan said. “Markets are going to have to deal with the reality of a slowdown.”

Privatized Services:Bandage or SmokeScreen?

The EU Bailout of Greece demanded austerity measures by the Government including some level of Privatization of public sector services [requirements are beyond scope here]. Today the announcement comes that minority stakes in the Railroad, Postal, and Regional Water companies are to be auctioned to raise funds as condition of another Trillion dollars of new debt. Circle of Life
The government organism demands growth of its services menu and staff as a means to justify an increased level of financial burden on the tax paying public -this also grows departmental empires. The formula includes sales pitches for Cost Savings, which always cut the "profit" motive for the current service provider, and under estimate the unfunded liabilities for retirement of the NEW staff. The presentations filled with Sunshine and Rainbows, promised lower cost to Tax Payer, improved constituent access and satisfaction all precede the chamber "Approval"...and the departments empire grows. For all the Process Focus of the bureaucratic lever pullers, the costs rise, the quality dips, and long term labor costs consume the service department like a cancer.

Miss-Direction
This Government Saving Bailout component is at best a Band-Aid, and at worst a Smoke-Screen. The notion that a Quick Sale of a minority stake is anything more than giving "a fix" to the dope fiend is misleading the less engaged public. Following the quick equity sale for a minority stake in these entities, the waste; corruption; and service levels; which have brought the Government to the current dire state are guaranteed to remain until the delayed but eventual fiscal collapse.

As a private investor, What is the incentive to put your assets at risk for No Control and a Guaranteed FAILURE in the longer term?

Reality
Public services should be Privatized in most cases, but the Pension System Collapse will necessarily precede the Yard Sale, (at 10cents on the dollar of value) and the Control of the Government lever pullers must be yielded if the Railroad is ever to run at a profit again.
